For over a century, the Agonian sisterhood at SUNY New Paltz has stood for leadership, service, and lifelong connection. What began as a small group of women committed to learning and mutual support has grown into a vibrant, multigenerational community rooted in shared values and purpose. In 1924 the Alpha Kappa Phi organization was formed on campus.
Today, that legacy continues through the Agonian Alumnae Scholarship — created to support students who embody those same ideals of dedication, service, and commitment to others.
